Tony Bouldin's Obituary
Mr. Tony Bruce Bouldin, 62, passed away at home in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, October 20, 2022.
He was born in Gastonia, NC, the son of the late Ralph and Catherine Bouldin. Tony was a self-taught pianist and played for family, friends and his church choir at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Huntersville, where he was a member for 22 years. Tony had a pure, sweet spirit and brought a smile to everyone he met. When Tony was a young boy, he made an 88 key paper keyboard to practice his finger placement. His mom and dad bought him a Spinet piano for the family home and he taught himself with a God given talent to play by ear and then to read music. He shared his talent in many church’s for services, weddings and funerals. He was the assistant Vice-President at First Union, Wachovia, Wells Fargo Bank for 30 years.
He is survived by his husband of 34 years, Richard Wisner. Preceded in death by his brother Mark Bouldin. Survived by his brothers and sisters- Randy Bouldin, Scotty and Carol Bouldin, Vickie and Ben Wilson and Debbie and Greg Pope. Nieces- Stephanie and Tommy Atkinson and Brett and Matt Ward; Nephews- Scott and Laura Bouldin, David and Jessica Bouldin, Jordan Pope, Matthew Bouldin and their mother Susan.
Funeral will be November 5, 2022 at 11 am at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 8600 Mt. Holly- Huntersville Road; Huntersville, NC 28078 with a reception to follow. The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed here:
