My memories of Wally Ammons date back to the early 80’s. Hard working and faith filled, Mr Ammons was no nonsense, but always had a kind word and sweet smile for me. I envied his love for his beautiful Ruby and his children. Such a man is now in Heaven, hearing the words of the Father, “Well done MY good and faithful servant.” He leaves a legacy of loyalty and friendship to all who were blessed to know him. Rest easy, sir.
I have wonderful memories from childhood of the Ammons Family. Mr. Wallace always tall and stern watched over his beautiful family. I can remember watching them walk home from church as a family.
