William Thurman,'s Obituary
William W. (Bill) Thurman, Jr., 69, of Huntersville, died November 7, 2012 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on May 27, 1943 in San Francisco, CA to Jane Snow Thurman and the late William Thurman, Sr. He served in the United States Army and retired as a special agent from the F.B.I. He lived his life serving his country and community in selfless acts of giving to others.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife Merrie Thurman; sons, Patrick and wife Mona and Scott and wife Lisette, all of Coral Springs, FL; grandchildren, Liam and Harrison Thurman; sister Jan Lerman and husband Mitch of San Leandro, CA and Robert Thurman and wife Mary of Sherman, TX; nephew Robert and niece Cory Thurman; mother-in-law June Spell of Huntersville; sister-in-law, Lauren Kunz of Huntersville and sister-in-law, Debbie Spell of Okeechobee, FL; brother-in-law, Keith Spell of Mountain Home, ID; nephew Keith Michel of Clearwater, FL; and niece Larissa Berger and husband Andrew and their daughter Raina of Mt. Holly.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, November 10 in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC with a reception following in the Community Room.
